:?is it just me or is anyone else having a weird problem with the forums??

For the last few weeks everytime i log in, it says welcome to the forums and then when it goes and redirects you it tells me I have to sign in AGAIN!! so I go and sign in again and it works...i just wanted to know if I was the only one

Hasn't happened to me yet, but I do know that in some forum software when you log in and it redirects you to the index without logging you in, sometimes there's a pop-up of the forums that does have you logged in. Do you get a pop-up?

Hmmm. Sounds like a browser issue...what kind of browser are you using. You might want to check your cookie settings or clear your cache.

no pop up

and I use IE7, and i delete all cookies and temp files at least once a day!..its not a big deal, but it does get a il frustrating!:))

That's the problem, those cookies hold your log-in info.

But what im saying is, when I log in it goes to the screen thats says
Welcome SNowMaiden and then when it redirects back to the forums it tells me im only here a guest and i should log in..and Im like I JUST DID!!! lol..grrr!

It soesn't seem to take my avitar or siggie. Makes no difference if I use a custom one or one listed. And I do press the submit button. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

After running several forums - this is a cookie issue of some sort. Either your system not accepting it on the first go or something else.

I've had these problems before on other forums, usually right after they've added some form of spam protection. Best thing to is to clear cookies, update your browser to the very latest, reboot, and see if that solves it.

On another note - was not able to use the Quick Reply box. Wondering about it - not that important though.

Thank you for the tips!! I tried them all, and still , I have to sign in twice...but ya know what?
Its ok. Beucz I love my MMC and I would sign in over and over again just to say hello and have a chat with all you guys...so cookies be d*mned, sillystupidIE7 be d*mned..Ima get me some MMC even if it takes all day to get on it!! lol..

But honestly, its really not that big of a deal, im past the frustrating part of it, and have just accepted it for what it is--a glitch! So 2 times, 3 times, or even 4...I dont care I will keep comin back for more!!
