I love, love, love TSO. They were in my "area" (a venue about an hour and a half away) last year the day before my birthday. I wanted to go so badly but we were in a state of severe financial regression (isn't that a fancy way of saying 'skint') so we didn't get to go.

This year, they'll be back at the same venue in the beginning of January. Not quite the same as seeing a Christmas show before Christmas, kwim? So, we may have to make a weekend of it and catch them when they're in Chicago.

TSO is probably my favorite band, I've been trying to see them for years. Hopefully I'll be able to go this year, but if I don't I'll still have Nightcastle.

I'm just gonna stick to the radio and CDs for them.

I saw them last year, very good show with the lights and all that, but I thought it was too loud and I would have liked if their was a xmasy setup and look to the show, even some lighted trees on the stage or something just to give it more of that needed touch. I also think the show should also include the kids singing Christmas Canon along with the Rock version. Have one at the start, the other at the end.

They are only coming as close as 300 miles away and there is no way I will go over the mountain passes in the dead of winter and snow. Bummer! Whoever goes, enjoy your time :)
