Hey everyone,
I was wondering I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but if everybody could list their favorite christmas carol,
I want to make a compilation CD but for some reason I can hardly think of any!
can't wait for christmas!

Sometimes when I am bored I will make a list of Christmas carols. I can fill 2 pages without thinking hard. My favorites are Do You Hear What I Hear, The Little Drummer Boy, Christmas in Sareavo(sp?), White Christmas, Sleigh Bells, Let It Snow, Winter Wonderland, What Child Is This, Silent Night. There are more, but maybe that will help jog your memory.cheesy

I think of a Christmas carol as being an old, traditional song like Deck the Halls, Hark! the Herald Angels Sing, God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen and others. Usually English or German in origin, although I do love the French carol, Angels We Have Heard on High. I also think of carols as religious songs, sung in church, although, Deck the Halls is certainly a folk, or secular, carol.
I think of a Christmas song as being more contemporary, or written in the 20th century (or 21st). Songs like White Christmas, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire), for example.
my favorite carols are:
Silent Night
O Holy Night
O Little Town of Bethlehem
Deck the Halls
Angels We Have Heard on High
We Three Kings
Favorite Christmas songs:
The Christmas Song
Winter Wonderland
Christmastime is Here (from Charlie Brown)
Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas
Sleigh Ride
