As you all know, each year I hold one interview (http://mymerrychristmas.com/2006/santaspeaks.php) with the media. I usually meet with a reporter in the month of October.
This year we will do it a little different.
This year I have agreed to be interviewed by 17-year-old Jeremy Hart of Fontana, California, USA. Jeremy is the editor of his high school newspaper.
Jeremy is a talented young journalist with many unique ideas. He has expressed to me his desire to make this interview different from ones conducted in the past. He feels that perhaps the media in the past has tried to shape perceptions of me by asking about pop culture and focusing on stereotypical Santa-trivia. He says that he wants his interview and resulting news article to reflect the "real Santa Claus".
One of his ideas is to get questions directly from believers and non-believers alike. I cannot give him access to letters we receive here at the North Pole but I thought it might be a good idea to appeal to as many as I can to forward their questions to Jeremy in advance of our meeting in a little more than a month.
So in the coming days you will be given a special web page where you can submit your questions and they will be forwarded directly to Jeremy for his consideration.
thank you and Merry Christmas,
Santa
