Christmas Crackers

I know its a strange topic but lets srat a topic about christmas carckers

what kind do you get and what kind of prizes do you get

me i nearly always lose

I usually buy my Christmas Crackers right after Christmas when they are on sale. Sometimes I get lucky and there are nice little ceramic animals in there. Most of the time it's cheap plastic toys.

Well, I read about Christmas crackers in a book called They Must Have Seen Me Coming. But I've never seen one. Is it a regional thing?

Buy them at the supermarket & inside as usual it's always a cheap plastic toy, a terrible joke & a paper crown, but they're fun!

I'm not happy with the quality of the crackers any more. I think this year, I may drop them and do a miniature stocking with a few small silly things in them. One for each guest at the table.

i get the "stuff your own" kind. they come with the paper hat, but you can put toys and whatnot of your choosing.
