Decorating?

Not this weekend, but probably by the beginning of October when I get back from Kansas. But it does give me a reason to go in search of my Christmas stuff. I knew there was a reason I put the fall stuff in with the Christmas stuff.

I'm trying to get my wife to agree to start decorating this weekend, two months of Halloween sounds great! I have some of my orange lights around my workshop desk in the basement but I believe it's time to go full steam on the house. I'd love to go all out in every room and shoot for a Haunted Mansion theme.

I am going to start pulling out my fall decor.. Start bringing it out a little bit at a time, Sorta' as the season comes in I will be changing with it.. by the end of Sept.. It already finished I cant go as slow as nature does..lol

I don't have that much stuff. But I will be putting up orange and purple lights on my flagpole. And a pentacle on my fence in ropes lights. But that's all I have..... (so far).

I decorated :) I just want to get some gourds and mums and what not to add...I found an antique bucket at a yardsale for $1 yesterday and put it on my front porch and added one of my pumpkins from the garden... it will be rotted soon, because for some odd reason the bottom split while it was still on the vine? Figured I would use it while I can for decoration...The pumpkins in my garden are already orange?

Bit early isn't it? Don't you need a night of hard frost for them to turn colour?

I'll be pulling out some fall stuff after next weekend. Then I'll slowly add to it and put up the halloween stuff in October.

I usually decorate for Halloween ath the beginning of October. I bouhgt a whole bunch of Halloween decorations last week. I don't decorate scary, I have too many young children in the neighborhood. I also love to make decorations with my neice and nephew. I plan all kinds of Halloween activities starting October first. :)

I saw some sweet pumpkin decorations in a shoe shop near where I work. I went in and asked where they got them. Not backwards about being forwards me.

They were happy to tell me, so I'll be getting some for the house!

I'm getting nowhere in a hurry, trying to find some suitable decorations. The stores around here are dismal at the best of times. I'll try again when we're on vacation next week. The different location may offer a better selection.

That, and I'm just going to have to learn to make my own. :boo:
