Forgive me if this has already been posted as I am new but....

Does anyone else decorate (not necessarily a tree in every room) all over the house? My mother always has something in every room. I've started to follow suit. A coworker of mine laughed when I told her that I had no idea what to sit on the toilet tank for Christmas! I guess some people, like my family, just decorate more.

Of course that same coworker now probably decorates her bathroom as well thanks to me. LOL

I just find it very comforting when the entire house is decorated in some small way - I only do one tree for the entire house so some rooms just get a poinsettia or candle.

I think a lot of the members here aim for that, something seasonal in every room. I do it. Even if its just a simple door hanger or a candle.

I try to spread it all through the house too...I think something good for the bathroom would be a nice glass bowl of baubles that compliment your color theme & a wreath on the door.

Every room in my house gets decorated, and I even put up an extra Christmas tree in my bedroom, lights, decorations and all!

The only room not decorated is the bedroom. I try to throw something in there, but the spouse says no way. Our game room has a sign that says Reideer Room (as it also is our bar area). That's where the upside down tree is. My scrapbook room has a tree up all year, the living room and dining room is decorated also. So, I'm right there with you on the whole house Christmassy.

I do EVERY room.
That includes the bathroom and the laundry room.

Currently in the laundry room (which is also the side entrance to the house where I unload groceries) I have a small snowman blowmold attached to a timer. It's nice to have it on early in the morning and in the evening when I feed the pets.

The bathroom, which is pale green and yellow, gets a poinsettia rug and special towels, along with a pine scented candle.

My bedroom gets a small tree, evergreen garland on the headboard, and Christmas linens.

~That's nice MarthaK..I like the headboard touch. I have red flannel sheets that I put on the bed on Christmas Eve. I only use them once a year so they remain special.

I try to decorate every room. The bathroom is usually a room visited often by family members and guest so it should be decorated. I put up a small wall tree in my bathroom, lights around the mirror and garland.

I put a small tree on a stand in my bedroom which we really enjoy, makes a nice nightlight.

I put a small wall tree in my kitchen and a larger wall tree in my dining area. A big tree in my living room and another big tree in the basement.

I decorate my smaller trees with jewelry that I have found at yard sales and etc. Jewerly that is too big to wear look great on the tree, beaded necklaces, big earrings, large pins etc. Also, the lids to some perfume bottles look great on the tree.

I try to do something in each room. We have one tree but we have a few small touches throughout the rest of the apartment (except the bathroom...there's absolutely NO room in the bathroom). I can't wait for the day when we have a larger space and I can decorate the way I'd like to!
