View Full Version : In desperate need of help (need craft ideas)
I'm driving myself crazy trying to find some good Christmas craft ideas. I have googled, dogpiled, altavistaed...used every search engine I know of....and I can't find any good websites with ideas. I need to get started on making gifts for Christmas, but things are coming out REALLY slow in the stores. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Revamp old plain baubles & stuff, I hot-glued purple beads onto this sheer purple bauble:

Or you could make these Elf cutouts I made the other day out of box cardboard:

Sorry for the terrible photography skills

How about those light up Chinese take out box snowmen I made last year? They're cheap, the supplies are readily available, and they're extremely easy to make.

have you tried home made layering jars, you layer dry ingredients into jelly jars, and type up the recipe on a card. you can make soups, cookies, brownies...endless possibilities!
Thank you for all the great ideas. I will give all of your ideas a try.

I have lots of recipes for goodies you could make-spiced nuts, truffles, etc.
Also, you could make a spa basket with a homemade eye pillow, a heat/cold pack, salt scrub, soap, and other spa like items.
For men, you could make after shave.
For kids, you could make little balls filled with beans and a tic tac toe board, or a doll, or a travel pillow and blanket. If you have accesss to a printer and clipart, you could make a coloring book.
I have other ideas if you need more.
