Residents of Sudelfeld, Germany awoke to almost 4" of snow yesterday:

Well last year we got snow in October here in MI. I am not looking forward to it.

I think we got snow Oct. 12th last year here in Ohio, if I remember right! That's plenty early!! :cold:

Oh wow.
We are not lucky enough to snow that early here. If I remember correctly, last year we did not get our first real measurable snow fall until January.

Hey Holiday my friend, you are the link Queen! Thanks for all this good stuff! I love the FIRST snowfall, its magical...after that magic wears off, it's a hassle!! LOL! We usually get snow here in Michigan in September but it never sticks. I'm in such a Christmas mood today, I'm looking out the window at the rain and imagining....snow. Sick, but this is something I can share with all of you Christmas nuts. !!! heheehe

I agree the first snow fall is great, but after that it shouldn't snow until Dec. 24. I think living in places like Michigan like we do just makes us sick of snow after a while.
