I saw a little bit of Christmas cheer (ornaments and lawn decorations) in one of our Walmarts the other day. Yeah!!!!! Bring it on!!!!!! And Santa I would like to request Snow on Christmas Day if that is possible. I know I'm early on the request department, but we need MOISTURE.

I went to Super Wal-Mart the other day to get a couple Halloween things and they already had a small Xmas section and getting some Xmas Toy Aisles set up. Lots of Halloween stuff, went to get some stuff for my Halloween costume for Disney World MNSSHP.
Yesterday I got in the mood and put all my Halloween stuff up, I have never decorated this early for Halloween, but since I’ll be in Disney most of October, I thought why not. Only did the inside though, I don’t do the outside until Halloween day.
The holidays are here….the first stop, the nightmare before Xmas!

I seen a house and thought they had put up Christmas lights. However they had a American Flag and it turned out the lights were red, white, and blue.

Oh yea, they were lit alright!
Maybe they were testing them and putting them up while the weather is still nice.

I bought my first piece this year from walmart last week i think?? Our walmart does not have anything up for halloween, but several Things out for Christmas.. I am going to put up some lights early this year, simply so it isn't as cold when I try to go hang them this year..lol
Anybody else hang lights in the fall?

We have before, but my hubby says he likes to hang lights in the cold - crazy nut!!! Lol!! I guess it makes it more festive!! :-o One year he hung them on a Friday night in early November & it was SO foggy. Our high school boys had a football game that night & we had it on the radio & the announcers kept commenting how the fans couldn't see the field due to fog. Anyway, we were outside hanging lights in that fog....talk about BEAUTIFUL!!! The lights looked SO cool!! I wanted to leave them on, but my hubby said NO!

I’m going to Super Wal-Mart tonight to get a couple more Halloween related things but will of course lookout for the Xas stuff. Last time I was there they were getting some things ready already and there were some decorations as well. I’m looking forward to so many thugs right now…Disney & the Disney Halloween party, Halloween and then getting back into my Winter Wonderland!

Every weekend when I come in from college I go to the Garden Center at Wal-Mart to see what new stuff they have out. Well what should by wondering eyes spot but about 35 percent of their Christmas stuff out. And of course, being the weak willed person when it comes to such things, I broke down and bought a 46 inch holographic Merry Christmas sign to hang on the brick of the house (in all red, green, and clear lights, which we only use for our decorations). But I could have easily spent a hundred dollars even with the limited selection.

Just a few days ago I spotted a very small section of Christmas stuff at our local super Wal-Mart. They've got the lawn and garden center full of summer clearance clothes and things but I imagine once those have been moved out, the rest of the Christmas stuff will be moving right in! :yahoo:

I went back to our Ben Franklin store again on Saturday (it's become a weekly thing lately...lol) low & behold...there was MORE Christmas stuff out than what they had the week before!! This is getting exciting! I bought a small candle burner w/ a winter scene on it for a friend for Christmas. They have some really neat stuff out!
