apparently being a teacher means being blatantly brutally honest to children. Whats next? "hey you know youre gonna die someday?"

A teacher has no business making comments like that. Belief, regardless of what it is ie: religious etc.. is something that, imo, is the responsibility of a child's family.

If this teacher had been trying to teach belief "in" something such as Hinduism, etc he would likely have gotten a raise from the school district....

I agree things of that nature should be told to the child by Parent or Guardian or mean big brothercheesy

That teacher should be ashamed of themselves. It's not their business to cheat a child out of the dream of Santa Claus. She must be on uptight teacher. Reality comes soon enough, she doesn't need to be a grinch or a scrooge.:-?
