That's very cool. I know the feeling. My MIL just moved and gave us a bunch out outisde decorations. We are in the process of testing the lights and getting them ready to use.
I am hoping to my fall decorations up this weeked.
I like the idea of a decoration countdown but I do not think that would work to good for me. We do most of our decorating thanksgiving weekend however my daughter can not wait that long and will start asking to put up het Christmas Tree right after halloween. We always cave in and let her it up early.

I'm sure she dosen't have to ask to much.

I put my stuff up the week of Thanksgiving. I live in Memphis and have to travel to Nashville for Thanksgiving so my stuff goes up early. I usually start assembling and lighting my tree (all 9 unlit feet of it) in mid-November.
I already have my red and green towels up in the bathroom (but I think that is just due to the fact that I am too lazy to take them down).

I found my outdoor tiny lighted trees in the storage shop a couple weeks ago. I thought they had been accidentally thrown away. It has been a couple years since I used them. I hope they still work. I am so excited to get to use them this year.

I was listeneing to Christmas music the other day while I was in my car. I was looking for a parking spot at the grocery store. You should have seen the looks on people's faces! I had all of the windows down, sunroof open, and was singing along!
