Vintage Ceramic Christmas Trees! Anyone Remember?

Yup yup. I have two of them. Not sure why I like them, but I do. However I don't collect them. I just wanted one or two and that is what I have. One is from 1974 the other from 1976. I pulled this guy out today to change the bulb and see how it looked lit up. Can't wait till Christmas!

Sure do remember those trees. I have a green tree, I always wanted a white tree for I thought they were pretty. My hubby bought me the green tree years ago for christmas and every year I pull it out of the box and set it somewhere. It's very sentimental to me.
The tree stays nice, easy to clean and always looks good.

Yeah, I would not mind a white one either, but everyone I find looks a bit antiquated. Either has gold trim or snow or some weird design going on.

Oh yeah! These trees are really popular here. They are always sold at craft shows. I have one very similar to yours we got as a gift from friends about 8 or 9 years ago. It comes out every year at Christmas & I love it!! They keep telling us they are going to take it back & have the white glitter stuff sprayed on the tips (to look like snow) but I kind of like it the way it is...I don't want anybody to screw it up! :lol:
