I use to purchase cards that were traditional and sometimes ones that were politically correct. Now, I just make my own and write a little poem inside.

I usually buy mine from a store like Kmart or Walmart
They got really OLD though so I went to Pat Catans/or Micheals and decided to create my own. They are actually cheaper btw!

I am not very crafty so I don't make my own. I do make sure they say Merry Christmas and not Happy Holidays

My DH and I pick our Christmas cards very carefully. Sometimes we'll get very traditional ones with very pretty Christmas pictures and a heartfelt holiday wish inside. But, we're also just as likely to go with a funny card because we're both very sarcastic and always cracking jokes!

I make my own and for many years they were always made out of black paper. This year they will be white and I think a lot of people will get a surprise cheesy
They are never the same, this year I´ve made some simple drawings, once I cut out red christmas trees, last year I painted them with different colors and one year I made small glittery soaps to go with the cards.

We have picture cards, My daughter and I. We have a picture taken sometime in the fall, and turn it into a Christmas card. :)

Every September I order 3 sets of personalized Christmas cards.
All of mine must say Merry Christmas, and I gravitate toward traditional religious, Kneeling Santa, and hometown U.S.A. themes. I also buy ones with cute kids and pets, or funny/sarcastic ones that I use as stationary through the season.
Oh, mine are personalized in 3 sets; one for family and close friends, another for my depolyed troops, and a third set for my my Internet friends.

I usually buy cards with a beautiful winter scene & I try to find them with a nice saying inside which includes a "Merry Christmas" & also good wishes for the New Year. I also try to find something with wishes about spending the holidays with family & friends. :)

I bought two boxes of religious cards at the Christian book store this year. One is a snow scene(mostly gray and white) with a church and "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you" (John 14:27) on the front. The other is a small card with a scene of Bethlehem and "In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind." (Job 12:10 NIV) on the front. I like snow scenes.
