Carring on from my "decorating theme" thread ive decided on snowflakes and stars this year, but due to my limited budget im going to have to make as much as i can.

Do you have any links or ideas for snowflake and star crafts?:-x

Last year my daughter made a now flake in her kindergarten class as an art project and it is real cute.

They took popcicle sticks and glued the together at the center, first forming a plus sign + and then glued on 2 more to form a star. They used spray glue to spray one side and then dipped into a pan of blue and silver glitter. Let dry and then repeat glue/glitter steps on the other side. Some of them had string tied on while others had pipe cleaners attached to hang them from.

papersnowflakes.com should have something. I bought three white wooden snowflakes at Michaels and will let some grandchildren decorate those with glitter glue and "jewels."
