Does anybody else get the Taste Of Home magazine? I am looking at my Thanksgiving (Oct/Nov) issue right now & there is some really yummy stuff in there. The Chocolate Covered Cheesecake Squares, Christmas Morning Croissants, Caramel-Pecan Cheesecake Pie, Corn Tortilla Chicken Lasagna, Cream Cheese Carrot Muffins, Zippy Chicken Mushroom Soup all look GREAT! The Turkey Breast With Vegetables looks so moist & yummy! The “A Flock Of Turkeys”, “Boneyard Cookies” & “Sledding Teddies” look really cute, but I’m not sure that I’m that patient or talented! Lol!! And I can't forget the Trick Or Treat Turnovers! They are festive loking - but again, not sure if I have the patients/talent! I am in such a holiday baking mood now today – I wish I were at home baking (rather than at work!) Lol!! It’s funny that the Spice Cake recipe is in there this month, b/c my hubby just brought home his moms spice cake recipe yesterday – he said he wants me to make it for him. I’ll have to compare the recipes – the cake (& icing) looks the same as his moms!

Has anybody tried/planning to try any of the recipes in the magazine?

I usually get copies from my neighbor. I love that magazine. So many wonderful recipes and ideas. I haven't had a chance to view any recent ones thou. I'm not sure how long you have gotten the magazine for but I have an issue from June/July 2003 I got from my neighbor and they have got the cutest watermelon slice cookies picture on the front cover and recipe inside. I didn't have much time over the summer to make them. But will try next year. They look so realistic and I know would be a great hit at any BBQ! If you are a subsciber to the magazine you should be able to log into their website and find the recipe. They are sooooo darn cute!
