Preperation Time: 15 minutes
Baking Time: 1 to 1-1/2 hours
Oven Temperature: 300 degrees
FOR 4 SERVINGS YOU WILL NEED:
4 turkey drumsticks or thighs, about 2-1/2 to 3 pounds total
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 Tablespoon chili powder
6 Tablespoons cooking oil
1/2 cup EACH orange marmalade & bottled chili sauce
2 Tablespoons red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon celery seed
Few drops smoke flavoring (optional)
Tips:
You may brown the turkey pieces & place in baking pan, cover with barbecue sauce & refrigerate to be baked latre.
For 2 servings:
2 turkey drumsticks, about 1-1/2 pounds.
Half of the ingredients.
Preperation:
1. Wash & dry turkey pieces.
2. Blend flour, salt, pepper, & chile powder. Dredge turkey with this mixture.
3. Heat oil in heavey frying pan, add turkey parts. Brown evenly on both sides over medium to high heat.
4. Stir together marmalade, chile sauce, vinegar. Worcestershire sauce & celery seed.
5. Put browned meat into shallow baking dish. Spoon chili mixture over evenly (can be made ahead to this point).
6. Cover dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 to 1-1/2 hours or till turkey is tender, baste once to twice with sauce that collects in bottom of pan during baking.
Good Served With:
Hot fluffy rice, green vegetable salad.

8 turkey drumsticks, about 6 pounds. Double the ingredients but use only 1-1/2 cups flour & 3/4 cup marmalade.
