I remember when I was little that me and my brothers and sister would take graph paper and make a map of the house then decides who goes where and what to do. And we would always have a old lunch box full of tape and scissors and glue so we could see inside and tape it back up. What I would like to know is if anyone else made plans and what was it below is my old plan.

1. My brother around four in the morning would pretend to go to the bathroom and flush the toilet. He then would close his door to make it sound like he went back in.

2. The day before on Christmas eve I oil my door very well with my mother cooking oil so that it won't creak. If I cannot do this then I play my recorded tape of me coughing and say to my mother or father "I don't feel good." She or He gives me cough medicine then send me downstairs I then pretend to go in the room.

3. My older brother down the hall from me when I come back from my medicine will open his door as I close mines so they won't here noise.

4. If the dog is in the hall My sister will have peanut butter with her and will feed the dog some to keep it from barking.

5. We rendezvous in the kitchen on the way to the den and stop for a snack then I will flip over the couch my sister will go under the chairs and my brothers over the table. Victory!!!!!!!!

6. We open one of the sides of the present to see what we got then using our Christmas tool we tap it back up perfectly then sneak back to our rooms.

That is funny! You went to great lengths to see what you got, LOL!!

My mom always made a rule that if we went snooping for presents and found any, we wouldn't get to keep them. She said she knew when we were truly suprised and when we were faking it! It only happened once and we never snooped again!!

I've never snooped, I love the surprise and the long wonder of what the heck could be in that huge box?

yes, I have 3 boys. I've overheard quite a few elaborate plans.

That's why all the kids boxes are already at MIL's house, so they cant snoop! LOL

Snooping at mine would have been useless, my mum is master of hiding presents lol, seriously she could hide ANY present, we looked, we never found and we looked EVERYWHERE once she bought the presents on the way to our Aunts house and managed to keep them hidden in the back of the car there was food in the back and we were going through things and eating the food and we didn't see a single thing!

I have never actually opened one of my presents before I was allowed to but my brother, sister and I used to shake our presents and try and guess what was inside themcheesy. We still sometimes do that now:cry:.

When I was in high school my mother brought several boxes to me she had them all taped shut. She knew I loved to wrap gifts so she told me that they were gifts for relatives and would I wrap them. Of course I did and when I was finished she gleefully stated, "You have just wrapped all of your Christmas presents".

I never snooped because when I was younger my mother told me a story about her snooping and finding a doll, well she was somewhere and a Santa told her he knew she snooped (most likely info. came from my mother's aunt) so when she got up Christmas morning, no doll. It was a mean thing to do but back then people were more cut and dry, no in between.

Oh wow! My christmas eve/christmas day is an exact schedual that I have followed scince I can remember!
I wake up at 9.30 Christmas eve and I pull on my christmas gym suit then my dad and I go across the street to help him wrap presents at his mothers house (grandma satan ) (lol)
and his friend 'conveniently' shows up looking for him,so there for im left there doing all his work and being critisized on how im doing it.Then my mother calls over there to "save" me.Then I go to the mail and pick up my familys letters (and packages).I usualy watch tv for 2 hours then I go to town with my dad for batteries .As soon as I get home I put on macaroni and we eat.I then get a bath and get to open up my pjays.I usualy hurry and try to be ready by 7 but no matter what I do my family is out the door before me and out to my Grandmothers where everyone sitts in her living room and watches tv,talks ,whatever we usualy open a few of there presents to us and go home at 11 ish.Im usualy in a mad rush to set out "santas" milk and cookies and get to bed.The next morning im usualy awaken to my mom dad and brother jumping on my bed.I open my sock first and then presents , I go to my other Grandmas ( the one im at all the time, like now) and open another bunch of presents from santa too. After all of this I sleep and die a little inside :)cheesy
