I remember watching The House Without A Christmas Tree on tv when I was a kid in the 1970's. I've always wondered why it wasn't on dvd. After reading the review, it may not be as good as I remembered, but I'm still going to check it out.

I ordered this online a week ago and received it a couple of days ago. It is one of my favorites. I love the books that it's based on. I still have the same books I had as a little girl. My mom saved them for me! I usually read them again, every other year. Admittedly, the quality of the movie is not like today, but it was shot in the seventies so this is why. However, it is such a touching story and Jason Robards, a great actor, is good in it. The girl who plays Addie (forgot her name!) is good as well. I think you'll enjoy it!
