My Tradition on Christmas

This is our tradition now, my Uncle Jim comes every year to spend Christmas with us he comes on Christmas Eve.

Christmas Day

8am-9am We get up and look through our stockings yet even as a 23 year old I insit putting my stockings up http://www.talkchristmas.com/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

9am-9.15am Have a quick breakfast

9.30am-10.30am Christmas Presents time Uncle Jim joins us and we exchange gifts.

10.30am-2.30pm We just relax

3.00pm my Grandparents arrive, so more presents

4.00pm Christmas Dinner

5.00pm-9.00pm we chat and relax

9.00pm my grandparents leave

9.30pm-early hours in the morning we go to my other Aunt & Uncles for more presents and have a quiz and sing songs.

that's mainly it though last year we couldn't have the quiz but hopefully we will this year.

I'll be a hangin mine up too and I'm 31; I'm another one who doesn't plan on stopping. I love stocking stuffers almost as much as I like getting gifts.

On to our traditions-I host Christmas Eve at my house and that day is spent mostly cooking for the family dinner. I prepare most of the meal with my mum and aunt helping out here and there. This year my husband is having one of his chums from back home in Holland (the Netherlands) visit with us for the holidays and with the addition of my niece who is now living with us our small family will grow a bit. After dinner we all sit and exchange gifts and take pictures and that may take a while. After all of that we sit around and relax and nibble on things we probably shouldn't, lol. Christmas day is when we dig into our stockings and watch programs all day long and sipping coco.

your traditions sound great! my tradition includes spending from 12pm-3pm christmas day at my local pub with family and friends, love it!

I'm 41 and I still insist on putting stockings up. Last year Santa filled my stocking with all sorts of cool kitchen gadgets. Awesome!!!!
