Hmmmm, this is a difficult question to answer.

I like Christmas Vacation, The Santa Clause 1 & 2, and The Grinch.

Mine has to be either National Lampoons Christmas Vacation (for comedy) and for just a good, meaning of christmas movie, Miracle On 34th Street.
An honourable mention is The Santa Clause.

Also thought Id add that I have never seen A Christmas Story. Which is weird because my brother and family always talks about it, but Ive never seen it. Ill have to this year:P
:-?

Mine has to be the Muppet's Christmas Carol! It's actually a pretty true re-telling of the story and Gonzo and Charles Dickens = Genius!

Great Christmas Eve viewing!

I can't pick just one really. Top three:

1. All Christmas Carol movies--especially Scrooge with Albert Finney

2. The Santa Clause

3. Tie--The Ref and Christmas Vacation

It is so hard to pick a favorite. I really love so many--if not all!:snowball:

Are you talking about on TV or at the movie theater? I know Fred Claus starring Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti starts at theaters November 9. There are a couple more motion pics coming out this season, but I can't remember the names.

There are a whole mess of TV movies coming out this season. Here is a link to It's a Wonderful Christmas--a site that lists all the Christmas TV for this season including new movies on the Hallmark Channel, ABCFamily, etc. This site was indispensable to me last year--it's great!
