its still amazing to me that when they say "we dont want to offend anyone" it never occurs to them they're offending us

I know that Mrs. Fields doesn't actually have anything to do with Mrs. Fields anymore (and her name isn't even Mrs. Fields any more) but personally I found her very...annoying. Years ago she had a restaurant in Park City and it seemed that every time I went there she DRILLED me on what I thought of the salad dressing. Three different times she did this to me (my cousin worked for her) and I finally ended up telling her that I could enjoy the salad a whole lot better if I didn't have to talk about it.

I don't see how they would offend anybody.

YOU might not have been offended. But I guarantee you somebody's going to be offended somewhere. Some people just look upon it as their right.

Well, I'm at the MrsFields.com site now. I typed in the word Christmas in their search box, I got 4 results promoting Christmas products (2 of which are Christmas cookie cakes).

Personally, We get free Mrs. Field's cookies with our office supply orders from Quill (I think) -- I'm not all that impressed... and the cookies are often stale when we get them.
