I feel like sheepsnot (below) - this site and forum feels like home! Christmas has always been my favorite holiday, but that "special something" is growing and growing as the years go by. I'd be happy having Christmas all year long. 8-)

Well, come on in and sit by the fire and watch the tree blink and wink. We're glad to have you Peavey! Merry Christmas! :-)

The first time I read your nickname, I read it like "sheeps - not," so that's not so bad. Confusing, though. :)
Thanks everyone, for the welcome. Ilove this place.

I am also new to this site. I enjoy Christmas and always have a hard time saying goodbye each year. I'm always singing jingle bells all year long. It's nice to find others who feel the same way. I feel like I need a Christmas support group or 12 step program. Do you all post all year long?

This is my first year here, so I don't know if they post all year long, but I can never say good-bye to Christmas. I keep a little of it in the living room all year. Each year, I choose something from my decorations to leave out. One year it was an angel tree topper, another year a beautiful bouquet of fake poinsettia. Last year it was a star made of jingle bells and this year, it's an angel made from a hymnal that my son and daughter in law gave me. Every time I see it I think Christmas. 8)
This should probably be in another section of the forum...

Well hopefully we can help each other to keep that Christmas spirit all year round. The summer months are tougher here. It gets so hot and you don't think about Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. Your thinking burgers on a grill.:D Just so you know I was OfNobility1982 but I wanted a username that was more Christmassy.

I was just doing some cleaning and organizing today and I put Christmas music on while I was doing it. I live in an apartment so if my neighbors can hear it they probably think I'm nuts. I don't care. I feel like that kid in that Tim Allen movie The Santa Clause. His son was listening to Christmas music and pretending he was Santa Claus out of season and his mom thought somethig was wrong with him. Christmas music is great though. I could listen to it all year round. I guess it's all about what's in the heart.
