Thanksgiving Countdown

This year my Thanksgiving Countdown starts November 1st...hosting dinner at my place and want to make it a special day....We are going to have a Thankful Tree and guests will add their Thankful Leaf to it...we will play some Thanksgiving trivia after the big meal......I have to inventory dishes, linens, and other items...and plan the menu...:cry:

Gingerbug...Thats a great idea. Sounds fun. It's nice to stop and think about things we are thankful for. Most things we take for granted and just don't think at times how grateful we all should really be. I think I may do something like this with my family. This year I think we may stay home since inlaws are headed to Mexico for the winter. So it would be a nice time to talk about what me, my husband and daughter are thankful for. Thanks!! =)

What a wonderful way to make Thanksgiving truly a day of thanksgiving. I feel more attention should be on this day for it is a day of family, thanksgiving and sharing.
