In homes all over the world a familiar scene has unfolded in the past 24 hours: there are candy wrappers spread about, bits and pieces of once-great costumes lie on the floor and many happy memories are recalled of Halloween 2007. But at the North Pole this year Halloween was taken to an all new level.
