Okay, for choir, we can choose to audition if we want to sing a piece at our Christmas concert (yesh, my school is not afraid to say 'Christmas Concert'), and I've narrowed it down to three i can sing tremendously well.
- Mary Did You Know
- Sleigh Ride
- The Christmas Song
What of the three do you think? If you think of another, please post!

What about O Holy Night? My favorite and such a wonderful song when sung beautifully. Good luck!

A couple of eyes at Church did Mary did you know at the carols by candlelight services (yes we have two!) last year and it was brilliant. (Mark Lowry who wrote it is a kind of a friend of a friend!)

I too agree with Mary Did You Know? If sung well, it is one of the most beautiful songs there is!!
I always sing Breath of Heaven by Amy Grant for my church.

Good pick on going with Sleigh Ride, seemed like you could put a lot more energy and fun spunk into it.

:rudolph:Did you have to stick with traditional or was it a public domain vs. royalties issue..? If not, and you get to do it again with any choice, I'd like to suggest Harry Connick, Jr.'s "When My Heart Finds Christmas"... that's a very sweet ballad that won't leave a dry eye in the house.
