here in Canada, it starts as soon as Halloween is over. In my town they start putting up Christmas decorations downtown and the sales flyer's start wafting into the mailboxes faster than a snow storm spreads snow. Santa parades are popping up in every town bigger than 10 people. You can now sit on Santa's lap in every mall (not sure yet how he does that, but will let you know!) The malls begin to fill with lots of people trying to find the perfect gift. The only thing we are missing is the snow. Right now it is raining again. But, with Christmas lights coming on all over town it is looking more and more like Christmas! I decorated my school bus today, much to the delight of the kids. But, I have cookies to get baked, and dinner to make (nothing to do with Christmas, just everyone here keeps wanting food!). So have a great time getting ready of the best time of the year!
