View Full Version : One more day
I'm so excited. I just have to make it through work today and I'll be off for an ENTIRE WEEK!!! I haven't been off for an entire week (not counting my bought with pneumonia in May) in a year. I can't WAIT! I think I will sleep until 10am tomorrow, watch tv in bed, have breakfast AND lunch in bed and maybe get up around 3 or 4 pm. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.........

Have you got snow yet??? There's nothing greater than taking your dog (or in my case dogS) out for a romp in the snow. Enjoy your week off; recharge those batteries before December - you'll need them!!!:nice:

Oh that sounds heavenly! Enjoy.
After taking off 2 weeks for vacation this summer (first time I've ever done that), my vacation time is limited, so I'm not taking off any extra time over the Holidays. But at least my company is giving us Christmas Eve off in addition to Christmas Day. With it being on a Monday, they probably figured no one would really be working anyway!

There's not much snow in Southwest Florida. I go out and pretend the mosquitos are snow...until they bite me.

Okay, I guess my first clue would be that your location is listed as "Sunny Florida"!!!!!!!!!!
Duh!!!!!!!!!
Yeah, good luck with those mosquitos!!!!!!
That's ok. After all, I did ask Santa for some snow in Florida for Christmas this year. Unfortunately he said that he couldn't arrange that because it would mess up the climate in the area.
As you can see from the time on this post...I didn't sleep til 10am. Having a dog is kind of like having kids. You can't tell them to "hold it" for a couple of hours when nature calls.

Tell me about it - one of mine decided he wanted out at 5am!!!
Good thing about it was a) he asked to be let out b) he came straight back in and went back to sleep (quicker than I did)
Never mind - you have a whole week to try and get that 10am sleep in!
