My festive season OFFICIALLY starts this coming Tuesday. I'm off to see White Christmas (the stage show) and can't wait.
It stars (and those of us who can remember the 80's should know who I'm talking about)
Ken Kerchaval as the Colonel. Not sure what it's going to be like, certainly not Bing and Rosemary, but it's a great kick start:yahoo:

Ken Kercheval played Cliff Barnes on Dallas, where Mary Francis Crosby played Kristen Sheppard, who shot J.R. Ewing! So there is a connection to Bing, however it is "slightly" removed...
I'd love to see that show...I wonder if it is playing in the New York area, and if it is, whether this lousy stagehand strike ongoing will affect it...
Many disappointed holiday revelers this week...One of Broadway's biggest weeks due to the influx of travelers and the shows have been cancelled due to the strike...Such a shame...

"C'mon folks, you know the words - let's hear you
I'm dreaming of a White Christmas......"
Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. Just what was called for on a cold, rainy Tuesday night in Edinburgh - it even snowed in the theater! I came out with a rosy glow which had nothing to do with my intermission white wine.
Got a program so will try and scan some of the pics but if it every comes to your neck of the woods, wherever you are, try and get along - you'll leave merry and bright!!!!!
