How Do You Decorate Your Tree?

:???:What do you put on your christmas tree? We have multi colored lights, and all kinds of ornaments. WE also have an angel in a gold dress for the top. Our tree skirt is green with a red ruffle. When it's finished, our tree looks very old fashioned. WE don't put any garland or beads.

On my big trees I use white lights, a big angel on top and a star on the other tree.
I do not do any tinsel garland but I do use beads as garland sometimes. I like my tree to sparkle so I use lots of clear ornaments and I postion them so the lights are behind them to make them sparkle. I use lots of different decorations, sometimes it's jewerlry, sometimes I use hair accessories. I like to use silk flowers that have glitter on them. I even use some perfume bottle caps for some are beautiful. I love to use ribbon, I cut it in small pieces and tuck them in between the branches or I make small bows for on the tree.

Last year I bought some really cute earrings that look like small ornaments and some with just a bell and bow, they are perfect for my small wall trees (they had the hook to go through the ear so this made it easy to hang) But I have used the post earrings, I just put them in some ribbon or a bow which holds the post and put them on the tree.

My tree skirt is gold with little flecks of red and green. If I don't have a skirt for my other tree, I just grab a lace tablecloth or a cloth tablecloth to match my color them.

I try to make a cascade coming down from the top of the tree with flowers, or decorative picks and that other sparkle stuff to stick in the trees. I love to try new things and just have fun decorating.

Ours is pretty traditional. A green tree with mutli-colored lights and lots of decorated glass ornaments. We use silver beaded garland and our tree topper is a fiber optic angel in a beautiful white gown.

Our tree skirt is a white one with a Precious Moments nativity scene on it and below our tree is a nativity set that my grandmother gave me when I was in high school and a creche that my mother gave me several years ago. Around the edge of our tree skirt, my Dh has a Christmas train running.

Our tree has blue-green and regular green branches we decorate it with clear lights and multi-colored lights, Red, Silver and gold tinsel red, silver, gold and patterened ornaments, mostly baubles and an angel at the top with a porcelain face, golden hair and wearing a pretty white dress

We have have a real tree every year. We put on clear lights, red bows and red, green and gold ornaments. It looks pretty traditional.:dance:.
