It is 8:45 here in Michigan. farther west it is earlier they might not be up yet. I'm sure the regulars will check in at least for a short time a little later.

I'm here ! No Thanksgiving in Belgium but I work a lot with the US and so it's very quiet in my office today ! Lucky me !!

That can be a good thing, or that can make for a long day!! Lol! I am waiting on my hubby to wake up - I am wanting to make a Thanksgiving breakfast...but he's been working a lot, so I'll let him sleep in!! :) I'm excited to start on my tree too!!

Actually to me it's a good thing. Now I can finish writing my cards for the card exchange (only three more to go !) and I had this idea of giving chocolate letters as a kind of party favor to all my family members on Christmas day (their initial) so I am wrapping these up with pretty ribbons etc... There is 30 of us ! No time to be bored :-)))

What do you serve for Thanksgiving breakfast ? Not turkey I hope !!

Nope, no turkey for breakfast! ;-) I am making blueberry muffins & a "hearty ham omlet." We don't normally eat breakfast, so it'll be something different for a special holiday! I'll save the turkey eating for tonight!

been a hectic 24 hours for me , my partners mum who lives in spain passed away yesterday afternoon, so have been trying to organise flights etc to get to the funeral

I'm here. I 'got my ears lowered' this morning but I'm in this afternoon. And when I was this morning, I also added to my collection of candles that look like food with a Christmas pudding and two mince pies!!!

Yeah, this might be the only time I get on today. The little kids will want the lap top, so I have to hide it. Just hope I remember where I hid it......

I am also waiting for my cousin and her boys to come out. They are helping with some food prep. They love that.

:stuffed::happy:Got my frist round done now I have another round to do here , I got done doing dishes @ 6:00, & started putting up my christmas decorations, but I have to cook for my Aunt @ 9:00 before she goes to work. So I'm not done yet.
Hope everyone had a nice thanksgiving dinner.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother in law. I hope everything went smoothy with trying to get everything arranged so we could go. May the lord bless all of durning this time & always.
