Since, I've been diagnosed as diabetic, I'm looking for my favorite. I've been having trouble finding sugar free candy for Christmas.

I love Terry's Chocolate Orange (which is pretty much available all year round these days, but I still associate it with Christmas!). I also like Toffifee. There is a great chain of chocolatiers here in England called "Thorntons" and they do the BEST chocolates! This year I'm loving their "seasonal dessert gallery" as seen here: http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/product/Christmas%20Collections_Christmas%20Gifts/1298.htm (http://www.thorntons.co.uk/ThorntonsSite/product/Christmas%20Collections_Christmas%20Gifts/1298.htm)

Ok here to show my down under ignorance - what on earth is ribbon candy? We are a nation of chocolate fudge and coconut ice for Christmas and this year if I get time I will make a batch or two of both - the coconut ice will of course be red and white, green and gold. For dad he will have the strawberries and cream and the butterscotch lollies made for diabetics - oh and in his stocking I know he will get some orange chocolate bars (diabetic as well)

:razz:My favorite is the Reese peanut Butter trees. I just love them, and I get them in my stocking everyear! For the stockings we also buy Snickers-they came shaped as nutcrackers for christmas. Hershey Santas, and we always have the hershey miniature assortment. I remember the ribbon candy. My Mom had that on the treat table every christmas!

This year I have fallen in love with the Hershey kisses with candy cane pieces in them. At least i think they're candy cane, i dont know for sure. They're white chocolate with little red pieces.

I've never tried them. I do buy hershey kisses though-the plain chocolate that I use for baking peanut butter blossom cookies.

MAN...anything from See's is great. I love their molasses chips in dark chocolate.
For Christmas candy...I'm all about the straight up/traditional candy canes. I can not get enough of them. I haven't eaten but one yet this year though because I'm trying to watch my sugar intake a bit.
I also really like the cherry candy canes and that ribbon candy that you guys are talking about.

I've had the Hershey Kisses Cherry Cordials! I love them! This comes from a gal who loves Cherry Cordials, too! I brought them home one night and let family know I had them....they didn't last too long! Mmmmm.....I'll have to have these around during the holidays. I can't have the regular Cherry Cordials anymore...or not enough to buy a box but I could have the Hershey ones! Woo hoo! Life did just get a little better!
