Is anyone else here familar with Jim Shore's holiday figurines? You can find them in almost any Hallmark and there's shows every so often on QVC. There's one coming up on the 30th I believe. His work is resin but it has a wooden quilted look if that makes any sense. They look like they are made of wood but the patterns are inspiried by his wife's quilting hobby. He has really neat Rudolph pieces. :rudolph:

He's done a great variety of Santa's. He also does Snowmen, Angels, many Christmas and holiday themes. And other special occasion themes was well.

Here's a link to see some of his work, but you really have to see it in person to apprecate how beautiful it is.

Very nice...I like it. I had never heard of this person before. I am even more thrilled that he does Disney figurines, and his prices seem pretty resonable. Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks again. His work is amazing. I would love to see some peices in person...vs... online, tv etc. My dad is like this he can take a square peice of wood and carve it into pretty much anything... He's never done a Mickey Mouse but I bet he could..

I don't see any Jim Shore in your pics. Your pieces will say Jim Shore right on the bottom. Check his work out sometime, great stuff if you love Christmas. Your dogs are awfully cute though!!

We're starting to collect Jim Shore as well, but we're heading down the Santa line. Picked up 2 pieces when we were in Canada last Christmas and couldn't believe it when I found some right here in town last week for sale (given the size of my town, you'd be surprised too!!):-D

Wow! Your pieces are lovely. I really like the Mary, Joseph and Jesus figurine. And also the 3 tier with the houses and trees. And your Christmas tree looks really nice. Thanks for sharing all these pictures. =)
