What Things Make You Feel Christmassy

Just want to ask as christmas is only a month away what things make you feel christmassy mine is all the decorations and the happy spirist from most people

The spirit that people have at this time of year, they can be so cheerful & giving around the holidays. I also love to go around & see all the different decorations that others put up to celebrate this special time of year.:merry:

I love the 24/day Christmas music on my local radio station, all the decorations and lights, going to the local malls and seeing their decorations...just about everything makes me feel "in the spirit"!!

I think it is people actually helping other people. I like the feel-good stories in the newspaper and the television!

I guess what does it for me is the colorful decorations, lights outside, Christmas music, and the overall good feeling that this time of year brings.

I would say for me, it's when I put up my decorations, drink hot chocolate in my Christmas mug that says: "I'm in a Holidaze", when I hear Christmas music, see Christmas lights...basically everything!

You can call me specific, but the things that get me into the Christmas spirit are Decorations, and a whole lot of them, Christmas Songs most specifically Kenny G, and some descent amount of snow.

:-xI love everything about the holidays. I only have one more type of cookie to bake. Today I started wrapping gifts, and next week I'll write out my cards. I love how my house is beautifully decorated-if I say so myself! I enjoy listening to christmas music, whether it's on the radio, or my own cd's. I love the whole feeling of Christmas.

For me its seeing Christmas trees and lights in peoples windows, seeing people in the street with a Christmas t-shirt or earrings, smiling as they walk down the street, but most especially its the looks on the faces of the people that visit our display - especially the people from the rest-homes and the Hospice visitors - Seeing moments of pure joy on their faces - that beats all.

For me, it's the music and the decorations. It will also kick in when I start baking. I'll start on my fudge this week.

The lights and decorations have started going up around here too. I like spotting them on the way home from work! I also like wandering into the stores and hearing Christmas music being played.
