ive just looked and im horrified and i saw gmtv do the show on this too
people in good stores are buying these products off people in high streets and sellling them to us

A gmtv presenter went into a facotry where they found all of around £50,000 if not much more worth of stolen and fake goods they are selling products that most kids and even adults want this year at very low prices. The person from gmtv was looking around a when she picked up half the items they looked real but when she opened the packets they were in for instance a spiderman costing normally £15 being sold for a fiver the head broke straight off
if that was given to small children the may put the head into they mouth and choke maybe. Other fake toys were thing such as teletubbies that supposedly have beads or something soft inside put dangerous things were put inside to make them look and feel real if babies or small children ate one it could be fatal

I'd be more concerned about the dangers in "real" toys. The safety standards in NA are crap and studies are showing that most of the toys on the market have detectable levels (too much) of lead in them, even the ones claiming to be lead free. Top that up with toys that turn out to be faulty and/or dangerous but aren't recalled until the manufacturers receive a significant number of complaints (500+).
