So what did you think?
I was sitting on the other side of the couch from dvdguy and I thought it was forgettable.

i thought it was entertaining enough. Though the bit about putting his finger in his nose was totally lifted from animaniacs
It was okay. I was a little disappointed. I really like the Shrek movies. I thought Shrek The Halls would have been better.

I taped that and the grinch for my parents.
I thought some parts were really cute - especially the story by Puss in Boots - he is TOO CUTE!

Between them and the tree lighting at Rockerfella center. From what I did see I liked, my husband said the same thing; our kids watched and our oldest (9) liked it and the two year old could have cared as long as something animated was on the tv. I have to agree I think it deserved a full hour; probably would have made it better. I really don't see this being a classic.

I liked it okay. Not a big Shrek fan but I thought it was cute enough. I could watch the clip of Puss in Boots playing with the hat and Christmas tree all day. I only started watching Shrek for him.

I saw it a few days after it aired on tape. Don't think I'll watch it again.

Hi dvdguy,
I missed it! I'm feeling really bad, because I'm a big Shrek fan and I'm 21! My parents were asking me about it! They really were keen to see it too! I just hope it comes out on DVD or if it's possible to be put on YouTube.

I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it on DVD. If they think there's a dollar to be made, they'll be all over it. Might have to wait until next year, though, and by that time I'm sure it will be re-aired.

Ahhhh....I missed it. It doesn't sound like I missed much, though.

I'm not a huge Shrek fan but I really thought it was cute. I loved the part where Puss in Boots came in and said with a sigh "I'll assume the position" and then the next scene you see him laying down with all the little ones pulling on him. Cracked me up!

I just watched it again. Not great, but much better than average. Worth a view.
