:playing:Does anyone here like scented candles? I love them, and light them all year long. I have different shades too. My Christmas shade is ivory with an ivy print. I've been burning a spiced egg nog candle, and I also have a SAnta's cookie candle. It reminds me of a sugar cookie. I have so many candles to burn during the year, but I want to get a couple more Christmas scented ones!

There was a post similar to this not long ago here. I too love candles. All kinds really...I agree Debbie, that Glistening Snow is awesome...I forgot all about those ones. I will have to pick one up next time I am out and about. I have a ton of party lite candles and I just got a sugar cookie jar candle that I had won as a gift at a home and garden party.

I like them in theory...lol. In practice they offend my allergies.

Oh, I absolutely love candles. I'm addicted to Yankee Candles...it doesn't help that they send out scratch 'n sniff catalogs either!!

Anyway, I really love their tarts and tart burners. I have an assortment of tarts right now and need to order some more.

Here are some of my favorites at the moment...
Christmas Cookie
Christmas Eve
Gingerbread
Jack Frost
Anything with cinnamon or apples
Any baking scents

Told ya I'm addicted!! :yahoo:

Amy, we have the same taste in candles! I also have a tart burner, and love it as much as the candles. Santa always brings me some tart candles in my stocking, but the jar I keep them in is pretty full, so I don't think I'll be needing any this year. The Christmas scents I have are
Mistletoe
christmas Wreath
Christmas Cookie
I think I'll burn one of them today!

Please tell me there is a way of buying online for delivery to NZ - those candles sound absolutely delectable and we have nothing like them here.

Please tell me there is a way of buying online for delivery to NZ - those candles sound absolutely delectable and we have nothing like them here. They are available online and they do ship to NZ!! I checked their shipping policy and there is a flat shipping fee of $36 on all international orders. That's pretty pricey.

Anyway, you can check out Yankee Candle (http://www.yankeecandle.com/cgi-bin/ycbvp/retail.jsp) if you're interested.

My burner is not electric. You light a tea candle in the bottom half. it's pretty, my niece bought it for me when I was a part of her wedding ceremoney, bringing up the communion gifts. Anyway, its yellow with a floral print.
Yesterday I lit my christmas cookie tart candle, and all day my kitchen smelt like I was baking!

I tried to find a picture online but couldn't find one. I bought it last year.

Hmm...deciding what I should burn today. :-D

Thanks for that - your right $36 Us is about $90 NZ. That is pretty pricey. Will have to think long and hard. But am heading off to check out website now.

:cry:I was so happy when I opened a gift from my sister this morning. She gave us a tart burner and some candles for it. I already have a tart burner, but this one is a different, so it will be good to have something to switrch off. What I'm really happy about is, I was getting low on christmas related candles. I have two that I switched off during this holiday season, and they both are getting low. I got a beautiful one from my sister, the jar is frosted, and the scent is a christmas cookie. I'm already burning it, it looks so prety on my stove with the christmas candle shade.
