:))I used to tape them around my doorway...this year I bought a snowman tin/tub to sit them in. I put it next to one of my minature trees. So..what do you do with your cards?
I slide them behind the chair rail in our living room. Before we bought this house I taped them around our entertainment center.

I found a nice hanger in the shape of a house which holds about 20 cards and does not take up a lot of space. This I have in my living room. In my kitchen I put a up a string with baby clothes pins to hold another 20 and the rest I put together in a basket.

I tape them around the doorway entrance to my "Computer Room." You enter this room from the dining room. It's where I spend a whole lot of my time at home.

I have an old cardboard Christmas tree that I got from one of the shops a couple of years ago - was part of the Christmas display for a company -I cut slices into it to hold cards and it hangs on the lounge wall. It can hold about 30 cards, the rest go on a length of christmas ribbon which is strung across the wall and I attach the cards using coloured paper clips.

:nice:I tape our cards around the doorway in the living room that enters the kitchen. I put them on the kitchen wall too. The family cards from myself and my husband, along with the cards I get from my sisters are displayed on the mantle. WE get many picture cards, especially of my great nieces and nephews. Those are displayed on the entertainment center.

I string it across a wall (fasten it with a couple of push pins) Add a decorative touch on each end, then hang the cards on it. The wall we put it on this year is a short one where there was nothing on anyway. Each string holds 6 to 7 cards, so I started close to the ceiling so I would have room for them all.

Those are all neat ideas.
Mine is much less sophisticated. I tape them to the back of my door (like whatever the main door to my home is where ever I'm living...I've moved three times since starting to do this).
I end up having the door totally covered in cards and I just leave them up all throughout the year. People always comment on it, especially when it's not the Christmas season...but not too many comment in a negative way. I just love that it's a little piece of Christmas for me to see throughout the year.
(never ruined a door btw)

I put all the cards on the door frames in my dining room & in the living room. Now I had to start putting the along the chair rail in the dining room.
