My daughter Larissa(6) and my neice Alonna(4), decorated this little Gingerbread house and we wanted to share it with you all. It really did turn out cute. We are off to drive around to look at lights soon. I am thrilled to be taking them..I can hear all the oooohs and ahhhs...and all the excitement they will be expressing. It makes it all worthwile, brings a smile to my face and melts my heart.

Thanks guys! They really had alot of fun making it. Now it's time to get busy making sugar cookies. I let the kids decorate these too!

Making gingerbread houses was what i loved to do every christmas as a child. I still do it now, but now it's always trying to make the plain gingerbread kit look amazing. Last year, looking through southern living we found out how to make the PERFECT trees. We were so happy!
