A stunning new assault on Christmas reported by the BBC today:A carbon footprint equivalent to 6,000 car journeys around the world will be produced by the UK tucking into Christmas dinner, researchers say. It is claimed the UK’s love of the traditional turkey dinner will generate 51,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide. Academics calculated the [...]

argh these global warming hippy's really get on my nerves. Agree with people above, are we not supposed to eat?
I would rather we enjoyed christmas and destroyed the world (not that we are), than helped the world a little bit and scrapped christmas.

I'll be doing my best to increase the carbon footprint next Thansgiving and Christmas. I may break the record for most Carbon footprint released in one year. I'll toast to you global warmers with a nice glass of Merlot in front of my real wood-burning fireplace after i drive up in my big ol SUV, and wish you a big Merry Christmas.:notice:

Global warming isn't science at all. It's a political agenda.

Nope. To me it is so blatantly obvious what is going on that I've given up research on it. And I've given up hope, we're going down this road whether we want to or not. I'm all for saving the planet and being responsible. But I'd rather it be my choice and not forced upon me. But that's the way it is going.

I am no genius or anything, but after looking at climate data over a 60 year span it seems obvious to me the planet cycles it temperature. Alot of countries recorded there worst winters in years and some there worst ever. We are also in the middle of a very cool spring, yet everyday on tv they wanna tell me its warming outside :?

Yes, and apparently Mars is also going through sometype of global warming, with melting of its polar cap.
I don't think exhaust emissions can be blamed for that!
Then again who knows what goes on there!;-)
I'm tired of the politicians and scientists sucking all the fun out of everything. Eggs are bad for you....eggs are good for you. Wine is bad for you....wine is good for you. Right now the politicians in our County are trying to regulate the color of newspaper dispensers. They don't want them to "clash" with the ambiance of the area. Let me tell you...the ambiance is nothing that great. Why don't they work on REAL problems, like homelessness, crime and drugs.
