I decided to get Bruce (my 16 year old) vouchers for THE main venue in Scotland for concerts. I know vouchers are a cop-out but this way, he can use them for whatever group he wants to see.

Anyway, long story short, I ordered them over the phone on Monday morning, paid by card and they sent them out special delivery, so I received them this morning.

Just been to the bank - they haven't deducted the money!! Now, I'm not hugely savvy about these things but if it were me, I'd make sure the money had cleared before sending vouchers out special delivery:-o!!! I've already pointed out to a restaurant that they undercharged us for 3 x 3-course meals.

Could this be my reward...........???!!!!!!!!!

to my son's school for woodworking class (supplies & safety glasses) They got it at the beginning of the year and did not cash it until the end of the year. Still do not know how they managed to cash a cheque that was 10 months old! By the time they cashed it I had forgotten all about it. (fortunately it was not for a lot)

Yes sometimes things take a little longer I guess to process. I have had this happen to me. But usually everything is clear within a few days. PS I think your son will be thrilled with his gift:smile:
