Of all the versions of all the Christmas songs you have heard in your entire lifetime, what one single version of what particular Christmas song is the most sentimental one for you? The one that tugs the most at your heartstrings?

Mine is the Percy Faith orchestra version of "Silver Bells".
It's almost as if that song reaches into the very depth of my heart and soul, pulling out every sentimental Christmas emotion I have. If I'm not careful, it can almost bring me to tears.

Okay, i know this isn't 'THAT' sentimental but I like 'Fairytale of New York'.

"I'll Be Home for Christmas"

To me that's one of the most sentimental Christmas songs ever. Really gets to me this year with my brother off serving in the Middle-East.

White Christmas - I've always been a Bing Crosby fan and I remember his wonderful Christmas TV specials and he always closed the show with this song. It brings me warm memories.

I've given this one some thought and I've come up with several...But the one that seems to stick in my mind over and over is "Silent Night". There are several artists who's versions I really enjoy...so if I have to narrow it down to one and one only, "Silent Night" is the winner...There is something about sitting in a dark, slightly chilled house, with only the Chritmas lights lit, and Silent Night playing softly in the background that brings true emotion to me...I'm not against the odd tear at the sound of this song myself...

A soldiers Christmas Eve, it's a song about santa arriving to a lone soldiers sleeping quarters, on one Christmas Eve. It really tells what these men & women go through.
