Alive and well in Rockdale

Hi everybody,
I just wanted to drop a quick line. I've been so busy this December I haven't had time to read a post, much less, write a post myself.
The sad thing is that I'm doing it once again. I've been too busy to just relax and enjoy my favorite time of year. I'm already starting to feel the "Been too busy and Christmas has come and gone blues." I'm real big into Christmas lighting. I not only had to do my house, but we also had a float in the Christmas parade. We won the best overall for the parade and 2nd in house lighting and I'm just sitting here wondering if it was worth it. I'm thinking about sitting out the lighting next year, or at least toning it down a bit.
Enough rambling; I just wanted to take a minute and wish you all a Merry Christmas!

If you find the time please add some pictures of your house. Would love to see it !

You can still enjoy your lights for a few weeks though. Christmas doesn't have to be over on the 25th ! But why don't you try something totally different next year and see if you miss all those lights. Then you can decide if it is worth all the time and effort or not.

Merry Christmas to you too! And I wanted to congradulate you on winning. That's so awesome. I can totally relate you being busy and the Christmas blues. I have been the same way. It's like every year I start a little earlier and it still doesn't seem like there was enough time to do it all. Oh well I plan to make the best of it. Best wishes to you in 2008!

Congrats on the winning. I'm sure they looked awesome. I didn't even decorate the outside this year. I just wasn't into it. I have my three trees up, but somehow it wasn't the same. I didn't even go to the malls and shop. I must have a fever or something. MERRY CHRISTMAS!@!!!!
