The last two weeks have gone by fast. During that time a friend has been told her cancer is spreading, another friend is in the hospital because of a fall, I lost one of my part time jobs and my uncle died suddenly of a heart attack.
I have also been blessed with a wonderful Christmas hamper, gifts from loved ones under my tree, and a great party with my extended family. There is food in the freezer and my house is warm and the lights are bright.
At this point I do not know how I will make ends meet in the new year.(they were almost together, before they got moved!) But, I do know who holds the future and as I celebrate his birth on Tuesday I will do so with joy.
