I can't believe he passed. I don't mean that I think he's rooming with Elvis & Bruce Lee, but I mean I thought he was recuperating and singing a little bit, then all of the sudden he's gone. Really sad.

Dont know if I can pick just one. As far as all the old standards I couldn't pick just one. Bing, Deano, Ray Charles, Elvis...those are all faves
As far as some of the more current stuff I really like "Where Are You Christmas" by Faith Hill but I also like Silent Night by Transiberian Orchestra.
All of Harry Connick's "When My Heart Finds Christmas". Can't forget "And the Angels Cried" Alan Jackson and Allison Krauss. There are just too many to choose from.

Greensleeves by the Vince Guaraldi Trio..or maybe Christmastime is Here by the Vince Guaraldi Trio...or maybe Skating by the Vince Guaraldi Trio...or maybe The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole....HECK! I can't pick a favorite! It's not right! It's not natural! I just can't....Too. Much. Pressure.

As so many have already mentioned, choosing just one is almost impossible!
If I had to choose just one, it would probably be, The Little Drummer Boy by The Harry Simeone Chorale. I also love, Carol of the Bells by The Robert Shaw Chorale and White Christmas by Bing and The Christmas Song by Nat King Cole and...and...and!

There are many, many versions of that song. I have four versions myself. One each by Andy Williams, Anne Murray, Boney M., and Neil Diamond. I'm partial to the Anne Murray and Boney M. versions, the latter being fast paced and to me at least has more of a contemporary feel.

That's very true, it's almost as if he's telling us a story, rather than singing a song.

I finally thought of my favorite! Cant believe it didnt come to me sooner. It is called "Christmas Time in Arkansas Again" It was composed by one of our local tv meteorologist, Ned Perme and was recorded by the late Terry Rose who was a local performing Arkansasan. It is like a very traditional Christmas Carol and is very heartwarming. They do have a video for it that they play after the 10:00pm news on Christmas Eve and I sit every year glued to the tv, tears a flowing.

My favorite Christmas song is Celebrate Me Home by Kenny Loggins. I can't make it through the whole song without shedding a few tears. I just really reminds me of when my whole family would have a huge dinner and sit and open presents.
