and my special made collage from my daughter, Alice. She made me a collage of the Osmonds from pictures I sent and pics she found on the internet. She said that she made it because of them celebrating their 50th anniversary in show biz! I was at the celebration in August and she knew it was special to me....actually, she knew they were special to me pretty much since she was born. She knows all of the older songs as well as I do.

Santa has also promised me a combo VCR/DVD recorder. I really want one of those. Since hubby broke his ankle and was unable to go out, he said that we'd try to get to the store one day this week to get one. I owe him a blower but he wants to pick it out.

I too, was incredibly spoilt

I received lots of great things which included a red, white and black snowflake ski sweater, 4 DVD's including something Japanese which is being described as "Sound of Music meets Dawn of the Dead":? I'll let you know how that one pans out!!! There were also books, smellies, the obligatory socks but the pièce de resistance is......wait for it......a hot air balloon ride!!!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a wonderful Christmas.

My boyfriend is one step away from "getting me" when it comes to gift giving:
He gave me:
1) a camp ax
2) a magnification light for fly tying
3) 2 LED camp lights (I love camping and fishing, so these are all good things!)
4) 2 new wireframes for my Christmas display! ...I squeeled like a little kid when I opened them!
5) Deck the Halls on DVD
6) Patrick Stewart's A Christmas Carol on DVD
7) Michael W. Smith's new Christmas CD
8) and there were Lindor truffles, flavored lip balm, and gemstone earrings in my stocking!!

Now, if I could just switch him over from teddy bears to an engagement ring, I'd be all set.

My Mom and extended family were also generous. From them I got:
1) a fly fishing Santa statue
2) a Gander Mtn gift card
3) 2 nice blazer/jackets for work from Coldwater Creek
4) a red velvet hoodie
5) a Black Labrador alarm clock
6) and a "Studs and Spurs" beefcake calendar to motivate me in keeping my January resolutions, LOL.


I also received three beautiful Christmas cards/thank you notes from troops I've been supporting during the year. I treasure those beyond words.
