...the countdown clocks have all been reset and we start into what is becoming a cherished time of year for me, personally, on these boards.
Within days the seasonal lurkers will fade away and we'll be left, just a relative few of us, to discuss and celebrate the season year round. I have really come to appreciate the regular personalities who hang here with us year round. You're fun, you're bright, you're optimistic and full of ideas...and you share a love for the season that burns year round.
Don't get me wrong, I love the crowds of Christmas. And I enjoy the site getting so much attention like we did the other day. This Christmas Eve was our biggest day ever -- more than 25 gb of data was transferred as folks tried to access My Merry Christmas -- that was more than the entire month of October alone!!!
But for as nice as all the new visitors are it is just our everyday visitors that I appreciate most and who make this site such a great place for those once-a-year visitors to see.
As always, I have lots of ideas of how we can change and grow what we're doing here. And in the months ahead we'll roll it out. We learned alot, as usual. And, like every Christmas, there are many things yet to do in the future.
Thank you for all your support!
Jeff

Jeff,
Thanks for keeping this going all year. It's so nice to find others who live the spirit of Christmas all year long! Without this little family I think I would bust or be committed!

I too will be staying, if that's alright with everybody. I'm happy here and feel at home with like-minded people, some of whom I've still got to know but others already feel like good friends.
Thank you for making this site happen!:tree:

Thank you for all you do all year round. I'm a relative newcomer (came with the mass migration from TXP), but I've found a new Christmas home and I intend to stay put!
It's great to have a community of people who love the holiday as much as I do...year round!

Thanks again Jeff for keeping this place going. I know that both the hubby and myself will be spending many a Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall evening sitting on opposite ends of the couch posting and enjoying the site

It's hard to believe another Christmas has come & gone! It just goes too darn fast! I am going to try to stick around all year too...usually I have a few lull months while I'm in gardening mode, but I do think about Christmas at some point everyday of the year & the days I don't log on I am always thinking "I wonder what is going on at MMC" My goal for this year is to watch at least one Christmas movie every week & to log on here -if not every day, at least several times a week! Thanks to Jeff & all you "behind the scenes" people who make this such a great place to visit!

Jeff with out you heading this wild and crazy bunch of obsessed Christmas lovers this Christmas would have been a little down for me. And all the moderators out there as well. This is a great site. Not only do you meet people with like minds, but where else can you learn that one of our forum members is having a little girl and shared that with all of us. Where else can you have a disagreement about one thing and still agree that Christmas Rocks. The exchange of ideas, recipes and other things that make each one of us loved and cherished. From heartache, to laughter, to pictures and just genuine friendship. I'm staying with this group, I had fun and learned alot from all of you. Happy New Year to all of you and may this be the start of some truly remarkable friendships. Mammaduke, Radio and Lady Jon D, Lightitup and the rest I hope it is a great year for you. JanaBanana, congratulations on the confirmation of your little girl. From Billy and the snowball fight, Maureen and Sila and Kerst and all of our friends across the pond. I am truly blessed to have met each and everyone of you. Thank you.....

Thanks for all you do, Jeff, so that we do have a place to come and get a little bit of Christmas whenever we want to. This place has been just what the doctor ordered for me. The sad thing about Christmas being over is that for people like us, you don't want it to be over; then one day everything just stops. The shows on TV, the music on the radio, all just stop. You put on your Christmas CD's, your Christmas movies, and try to make it last longer, but sometimes that makes you feel alone because nobody else is still trying to make it last. But then you come here and see that you're not alone. There are others out there who love Christmas as much as you do. God bless you for keeping this wonderful place going.

:sparkle:
I too want to thank Jeff for running a great Christmas website. I am sure that all of us know that there are other equally good Christmas websites, but I am sure we can agree that this one is one of the finest out there.
Its good to know that there is a place to go to share our love of Christmas with others no matter where we are at. And I am also glad that I too have Christmas themed shows on tape and DVD to watch all year......and Christmas music to listen to as well.
Heres to all of us.......for keeping Christmas alive inside of us and here at MMC!!
