Hopes for the new year, 2008!

What are your hopes for the new year?

I have 3.

My daughter will graduate from college (In February but she'll walk in May)

My son to graduate from college. His plan is in December...I'm hoping he doesn't need more time. He's on a 5 1/2 year plan. He likely will not walk at the December graduation. It's a tough time for my husband, a jeweler, to get away even on a weekend.

That we all keep our health and things go well this year. I'm turning 50 in May....I remember when that sounded old. I'm not thinking that anymore. LOL

I hope it will be a better year for everyone. I lost 2 family members right before TG, but have a lot to be thankful for too. My college daughter came thru brain tumor surgery and it was benign and she is going back full time in January. she will be graduating later than scheduled, but now that doesn't seem important.

cancer is such an evil disease, and it seems to effect every family in some way at one point, i pray for a cure soon.

my hopes for 2008 are for good health for my family and my career finally taking off in some way.
