I think the book Christmas Jars would be a good movie. Not sure who I would pick to have act in it thou. They are actually suppose to make a movie from the book. I really like this story it makes you stop and think how a little can go a long way in making a change in peoples lives.

I like Christmas movies that are childlike. I like cartoons and movies like The Grinch and The Santa Clause. So my ideal movie would be along these lines.

I suppose if there was one person on this forum who could write/come up with a new, interesting twist, never been made before Christmas film, it would be you Dvdguy, or are you writing one already and don't want to give the plot away:) hehe

I have an idea for a story about a mean old man who hates everybody and everything and then one Christmas Eve he is visited by three wise guys and they beat him into submission...when he wakes up, he's bruised and battered but he believes in Santa...Sort of a combination of several plotlines...Either that of a story of a Christmas nutcracker that comes to life...I haven't fleshed that one out as much yet...

:nice:I think it would be set at the North Pole as depicted in the Santa Clause movies, but a romantic comedy with lots of beautifully decorated house scenes, cozy little family holiday dinners with beautifully set tables and food, no nudity or profanity, and just enough "fluff" to make it really fun to watch...is that really too much to ask for???

I love the ones that involve miracles. I think the accomplishment of World Peace and tranquility would be a great miracle to see come to life....oh and much lower gas prices...lol

I like a heart-warming movie, something that starts sad, makes you blink away tears and gives you a good feeling at the end. Actors don't matter too much. Background of course snow and maybe a log cabin, a fireplace definitely and a great community. Plot ? No idea. I only watch movies and read stories, could never make/write one.

I agree ~ lots of snowy scenes, sleigh rides, cozy fires, holiday parties, miracles, romance, baking, (like a candy making party) nice dinners, & of course there has to be something "bad" that turns out good... am I asking too much, all in one movie?

My ideal christmas movie....hmmmmmm (Scratches head).......

Ok a big city with just enough snow to make it pretty. Gotta have kids in it and santa. It would be funny but a moral to the story. Not sure what the exact would be but that's along the lines of it.

It's kind of been made....at the start of Scrooged (Bill Murray) they showed the teaser for "The Night the Reindeer Died" with Lee Majors saving Santa and North Pole from terrorists.:merry:

Nice!

No really, I have to think about it a while. Most likely a good old fashioned family story with a historical backdrop.

Probably ANY adaptation of one of my Christmas comics... live action or animated... lots of snow... and a MUSICAL! With tons of singing and dancing... yeh, that would be sweet! cheesy
