Air compressor / presure washers = $300
hoses, nozzles, and pvc pipe = $ 100
staying up all night standing in the cold, getting wet = tired, cold and sore.

The sound of children playing in the snow for the first time = PRICELESS.

In Southern Alabama, you get snow about once every ten years, So a few years back I built a snow making machine so I could cover the church yard in snow. So each year I wait for the right conditions and make snow all night for the children in my parish and the neighborhood.

The church yard has a natural slop and makes a good sledding hill.

Its the first time for this boy and girl to ever see snow or ride on a sled.

Well if we have snow, it was only a matter of time before our Polar Bear mascot got into the action. Its usually a very hot costume.. but not to bad when its 25 degrees.

I grew up in Ohio, so I know that many of you who get the stuff every year don't like it, but to children who have only seen it on tv, this is a big deal and very magical for them.
